September 6th, 2020 Food Tour
After fashion show on September 5th, 2020, I decided to eat outside because I had been diet for almost 6 days. I planned to go to Djie Seng Bakery and Warung Kopi Purnama. I went to Djie Seng first because it was farther than Warung Kopi Purnama. I went to Djie Seng using online motorcycle. Firstly, I wanted to arrived in Djie Seng at 06.30 am

You can see at the back there is Djie Seng Bakery. Djie Seng Bakery is located right on the side on the road of Otto Iskandardinata, Bandung. If you go there from Dago, you can see them at the left of yourself. You must rode a little bit slowly if you were about to arrived in Djie Seng Bakery. In Djie Seng, you can find some bread with flavour, white bread, madeleine, and other types of cake. Correct me if I'm wrong, their bread with flavour are 5k and 7-8k. Their white bread actually is everyone's favourite, but I didn't buy it because of the price. It was better to save money for the next food tour
Bread with Flavour in Djie Seng Bakery The Bread and Chocolate Inside It
I bought 1 bread only which is chocolate bread. It was the first time I tried Djie Seng Bread. It was different from other bread. The outside texture is rough. I thought maybe old bread was like that. The bread was dense. The chocolate inside was not smooth like melted chocolate or chocolate ganache. I thought the chocolate was handmade.
My impression from Djie Seng Bakery is this was not as delicious as I expected. Some people like Djie Seng Bakery and praised it. I thought it was like other bread. Maybe I didn't find it so special because this was not a type of bread that i like. I thought it has grand taste or unique taste like I find in French bakery -which I have not tasted it yet- but it was not. I prefer to tried bread that has taste like Ro*i B*y or R**i O' for snacking. Those bread are not like my typical daily bread.
I also bought madeleine and other cake I didn't know. I was curious about madeleine since I knew it from one of influencer which I follow on instagram. I forgot the madeleine and other cake's price. Maybe 10/12k.
The madeleine and other cake's tast was great. It wan't too sweet. It was felt pillowy.
After my food tour in Djie Seng, I went to Warung Kopi Purnama. It was not far from there. I chosed to take a walk to Warung Kopi Purnama.
Warung Kopi Purnama was located on Alkateri Street 22. At that time, I can't believe Warung Kopi Purnama was located on the road that was small. When I almost arrived, I can saw there had been many people there. I was shocked. It was just 07.30 am! But I understood. Because it has 07.30 am while they had their opening hours in 06.30 am and Warung Kopi Purnama was famous.
The people queued to washed their hands because this corona. They also queued to wait if there were tables available for them. They asked by the waiter how many of them. Then, if their number were match with the number of tables that available, they may enter the coffee shop. Luckily I was, there were 1 table and 2 chairs available and I only alone, so I may enter and didn't have to wait for a long time.
